Natural heritage of a country is one of the most important components of their wealth. The world natural heritage composed of energy resources, minerals, timber, non-timber forest, cropland, pasture and natural protected areas, representing at least 18% of the wealth in the world.1 Because of its importance to the country's development and collective welfare, it is essential to know the initiatives and organizations in which civic engagement is reflected in a large number of citizens in favor of the environment.

Aims to provide a forum for discussion of ideas, comparison and exchange of results and, in general, the dissemination and promotion of the use of solar energy. IUCN activity is mainly focused on the conservation of biodiversity, which means curbing the disappearance of animal and plant species and the destruction of natural environments. All these factors have an impact on the environment and the latter, in turn, also affects the former. None of these challenges can be overcome without actively addressing in particular the issue of nature and biodiversity.
